After an exhaustive price survey, I have booked into the Edinburgh Haymarket Premier Inn for the Nationals (the Travelodges are very slightly cheaper, but I'm trying to avoid a Sachas hotel type scenario again). If anyone wants to join us, you can get £20odd off by booking through travelrepublic.co.uk - comes to about £117 for a double room for two nights.

Bicycle!

The world seems particularly broken today. Cases in point: Liberata plc being particularly horrible and not even letting their employees have Livejournal access to emo-spasm about it. Magazines photoshopping ultra-thin celebrities to still look extra thin but to take away that un-sexy gaunt and bony look. WTF? That's worse than just 'shopping them to be thinner...
